DP2X/DP2X-UK Decoder

The DP2X decoder is a two function decoder with BEMF and Railcom designed as a direct Plug N' Play to fit many different HO and OO scale locomotives (see list of known incompatible locos). There is no wire harness and no soldering is required. Installation is very easy. Plug the decoder directly into the locomotive DCC socket (just make sure you get the orientation of the decoder correct!).

There are two variations of the DP2X decoder. The original DP2X is really designed for US locos where there is plenty of space inside the body to accommodate the decoder where the pins are aligned across the narrowest part of the decoder. The DP2X-UK was designed in conjunction wth Bromsgrove Models to allow the plug and play decoder to fit into almost all UK RTR locos, both diesel and steam. The pins on the DP2X-UK are aligned down the long axis of the decoder, so that the space occupied is not much greater than that of the dummy plug found in DCC ready locos.

Features:

• Button Control of the Motor Circuit allows you to pick the control buttons of your choice for controlling smoke unit, high speed switching or variable brightness light up to 1.2 amps.

• Factory Reset lets you quickly change most of your choices back to their factory default values if you get into a situation you don't like.

• 128 speed steps are active when Mid volts, Top volts, Start volts or the user loadable speed table is active for much smother operation.

• Primary 2 digit addressing or advanced 4 digit addressing may be used.

• Basic and Advanced Consisting for use with any controller.
