Sounds for model railway layouts and other miniature scenarios:

What can HQ Sound Modules do for me?

The purpose of HQ sound modules is to bring your layout to life with sound.

Imagine building a model railway with an industrial building such as a saw mill and being able to hear the wood being cut, or a coastal scene and being able to hear the sea, the ships and the birds.

If you have an exhibition layout, imagine the look on the faces of youngsters as they hear the turntable generating a noise as it rotates, the sounds of the farmyard, the school playground echoing to the noise of children and the sound of music coming from the local pub or bar!

What is an HQ sound module?

An HQ sound module is a 1.5" X 3.0" X .4" circuit board that consists of a voltage regulator, a sound chip, an amplifier, a volume control, and terminal strips.
These modules have a total play time of 30 seconds and can be played one time, or loop continuously until they are turned off. All you need to complete the setup is a 9v power supply and a mini 8 ohm loudspeaker to locate within or close to the feature.

If you use DCC on your layout you can automatically control when the sound is played on each module and for how long.
