1. ESD (Electro Static
Discharge) This is what occurs when you walk across a
carpet and touch a piece of metal and get a shock. Before
touching the DT-1 circuit board You should touch something that is
grounded to discharge static electricity you may be storing.
This is important to do with any bare electronic circuit
boards you handle.
2. The DT-1 circuit boards can be
installed at any trackside location with the sensors facing
the track. In addition, the circuit board should be mounted on
top of some type of shim so the sensors are above the track
level in order to keep the infrared from reflecting off the
track. You can use velcro, double back
tape.
Caution: do not lay the board down on any
metallic surfaces or permanent damage will result.
3. Camouflage: When installation is
complete, you can camouflage the DT-1 circuit board with
bushes, etc.
4. Use indoors: These units are not
designed for out door use.
5. Specifications: Power
requirements. 9 to 18 volts DC or 4 to 18 volts AC. Current
Drain is approx. 60ma max.
